Books

This is my reading spot. Y'all, I haven't been a reader until recently. Actually, I still don't think I'm all that much of a reader. I'm pretty slow at it. But I WANT to be! I really do. So I'm hoping that if I have a page of all the books I've read, it'll motivate me to read more. We will see! These aren't going to be reviews, just a few thoughts about the book and I'll give you links to them. I'll keep what I'm currently reading at the top, so don't spoil anything for me!! For all you readers out there,
I want suggestions of good books!

I'm still working on A Voice in the Wind. Actually, I'm only like 15% into it. But it's SO good!! I've heard my mom recommending this series to all her friends for as long as I can remember. Every girl I've talked to that has read it says it's the best series of books she's ever read. So, it must be true right? Even though I'm not that far into it, I find myself thinking about Hadassah a lot!

If I Stay &  Where She Went

I tend to read books when I hear they are making a movie out of them. That's what happened with this one. I read If  I Stay just in time for the movie, and I loved both! I will say that the movie didn't follow the book all that great, but do they ever? If you want a short love story, go pick this one up! I'm still working on it's sequel, but I'm enjoying it so far. I just love love and this is a love one! :)

Go read this now! I'm a sucker for this kind of book: sweet love story, pending tragedy, easy to read. I really like young adult/teen books. They are easier for us slow readers. This one was really great. After you read it, you should go see the movie. It pretty much follows the book exactly. I would definitely recommend this one to you!

This was a totally different read for me. A friend at work described it to me and I thought it sounded dumb, but she convinced me to read it. I'm glad she did, because I really enjoyed it. It will make you think differently about God, in a good way!

This is one that I'm sure you probably haven't heard of. It's the story of the author's conversion. That's really all I want to tell you, because I really want you to read it. If you decide you want to, I challenge you to read the whole thing, cover to cover. Then, let's talk!
